Breakfast buns

These breakfast buns are easy to make and really yummy to eat for breakfast with butter and cheese. Oh, and a large cup of coffee 😀

 

Breakfast Buns

18 buns

5 decilitres water

25 gram yeast

2 tablespoons oil

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon liquid honey

1 1/2 decilitres quark (or cottage cheese)

2 decilitres oats

about 10 decilitres flour

Owen: 225 degrees Celcius

 

Directions:

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add all the other ingredients and mix. Let rise for about 50 minutes.
  2. Shape to balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Let rise for 40 minutes. Brush the buns with egg and sprinkle a little oats on top of them. Bake at 225 degrees C for about 10 minutes.
